i… um.. and.. uh

bleehhh

I just really don’t feel like:

  • packing for my trip home
  • loading my car with a bunch of crap
  • studying for my quiz tomorrow
  • emailing people about money they owe me
  • cleaning and RA-proofing my room
  • moving from this chair

Umm, with that said,

I cannot speak for the guy who thinks she will be president, the woman who thinks it would be a good idea to cut ALL SPENDING, the guy who thinks Barack Obama wrote books detailing his “marxism, leninism, and socialism”, the woman who says she’s an “American, we don’t have tsars in America”, the guy who thinks Obama doesn’t like the military, the guy thinking there is “background talk of martial law”, the guy who doesn’t think Obama is an American citizen, the guy who believes compromise is for “people that are wrong”, the woman who believes Palin would be the first in the “line of attack” if Alaska had problems with Russia, the woman who thinks polar bears should be taken off the endangered list so we can drill, the guy who thinks partial birth abortion is becoming legal, and the woman who thinks her Christianity is being jeopardized here in America.

America, I Am Disappoint of the Day: Sarah Palin supporters, gathered outside a Going Rogue book signing event in Columbus, Ohio, are presented with basic questions about her policy positions.

Vacularity ensues.

Is anybody really surprised? Maybe a reason these people don’t know about her policy issues is because she doesn’t have any. She’s always just been a blank canvas, an empty vessel for conservative politicians and media so they can project whatever views they want onto her. And we’re seeing it right here bouncing back within the populace that knows nothing about politics or policies from anyone, they just see a resurgence of their “values” in the form of a puppet. I’m not saying this ignorance doesn’t appear in supporters of people like Barack Obama, but at least he had some substance and knowledge (read: actual policies) to back up his supporters’ view of him.

This is not the beautiful part,” said one of our many rotating guides. But I choose to see the contrary. It was a slum, Rio’s largest in fact, but it is still home to hundreds of thousands of lives being lived out in every nook, cranny and crawlspace of the alleyway streets. Slum is merely economic jargon. The word itself has no status. Everything I could see was natural life. It was a typical human settlement. Earthlings clinging onto earthlings for life support, making art to entertain each other, painting walls to decorate or demonstrate. No matter how desolate, floors need to be swept, water pumped in and out. Creativity and ingenuity are hard at work. Children play and mind their pets. People dance and fall in love. Life does what life does no matter where you reside.

We are of service to one another. Earthlings clinging to earthlings for life support, making up acts to entertain its Self. Translation: Being love.

I predict that the future of pop music performances will just be people having lewd amounts of sex onstage with some bass beats in the background.
